MISSION
Handing Out Hope is the home to blog articles and videos produced by Handing Out Hope Ministries, founded by Keith Harris to generate hope and encouragement in a broken world.
Our goal is striving to share the peace and love that can be found in Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus is truly God, the creator of the universe, and truly man, having experienced everything humanity has to offer. Jesus lived on earth in a human body, yet He remained sinless. He died when humanity crucified him, and he rose to life after spending three days conquering sin and death in the grave.
God the Father forgives us for our sin and wants to have an intimate relationship with us, as His children. He cares for us and wants to be a very real part of our lives. He is able to do this because of the price His son, Jesus paid for our sins.
The Holy Spirit is also God, as He approaches us today in spirit. He works in our lives mysteriously, guiding us always closer to God the Father and Jesus.

OUR FOUNDER
Keith Harris is a believer in Jesus. He believes in encouraging people. First and foremost, Keith believes in look at people as God would look at them. Keith believes God created humanity with all its diversity and unique cultures to please Himself. Keith says, "My mission is to be more like Jesus in everything I do. I am His servant and everything I do should be inspired by Him. I fail at this regularly. As Paul, the apostle of Jesus puts it, "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it." (Romans 7:15-20)
Keith has a full-time job as a marketing communications manager. He is a father and husband, and remains fully committed to his family. He began this ministry as an outlet for an overflow of creative, God-given ideas and desire to share His faith with anyone who will listen.
Keith travels to spiritually dark places to share the Gospel of Christ with people who might not have a chance to hear about Jesus any other way. Jesus tells us, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28: 19-20)
