In the game called life, who is in charge? Not it!

I was raised in a Christian home and I’ve always know that God created me and gave us everything that is good in our lives. I’ve spent many roller coaster years since accepting Jesus, fighting to maintain control of a life I have fully given to Him. I’ve come to realize in the last several years, I’m in control of nothing. God is more interested in who I am becoming than what I can do for him.

Sweet release! It is so much easier knowing I don’t have to do God’s job. I don’t have to perform. I don’t have to please. I don’t have to do the stupid-human tricks we all get trapped by.

Who Is In Control?
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

All I have to do is walk with God in this moment - right now. I don’t have to worry about all my stuff in the past. I don’t have to be anxious about what’s to come. I just have to enjoy this moment with God. This moment is precious because He is in it. In this moment, He will lead me into great joy, if I spend it with Him.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
